About The Simply Pediatrics Podcast

In my daily practice, I’ve seen how a little extra guidance can make a significant difference in the well-being of my patients, and their families. I often find myself sharing the same valuable bits of information—information that’s not unique to just one child or situation. This podcast is my way of taking that knowledge out of my head and making it easily accessible to parents whenever they want it. Unfortunately, geographic barriers or time constraints often prevent families from accessing the care and resources they need. My podcast bridges that gap by creating an accessible platform where I can share insights on a wide variety of pediatric concerns and issues in a digestible and concise manner.

The podcast serves as a trusted resource for parents seeking to make informed decisions about their children’s health. Whether you’re looking for guidance on managing a specific issue, or simply want to lay a strong foundation for your child’s long-term well-being, this podcast offers you the tools, information and confidence you need to navigate the often overwhelming world of pediatric health.

Each episode delves into a specific topic or concern, offering parents evidence-based insights, practical strategies and actionable steps to support your child’s health and well-being. The topics I cover are inspired by the questions I’m asked every day. While much of the information is broadly applicable, some will depend on the age and stage of your child. For that reason, I discuss a wide range of topics that address children of all ages, ensuring that there’s something relevant for you now or in the near future.

The content is rooted in a holistic approach, addressing key factors such as lifestyle, nutrition, daily routines, and natural medicine. Topics range from managing common childhood illnesses to addressing more complex issues like developmental delays, behavioral concerns, and chronic conditions, and include the thoughtful use of vitamins, herbs, homeopathy, essential oils, chiropractic care, acupuncture, and other integrative therapies to help parents navigate their child’s health journey with confidence and clarity. I recognize that some of the guidance I provide will differ from what traditional Western medicine teaches. Shifting toward a more holistic perspective can take time and trust—trust in the body’s innate ability to heal when given the right support and left to do what it was designed to do.

My hope is that this podcast serves as a resource for families looking to embrace a more natural approach to health, or as a gentle reminder for those who want to revisit topics we’ve already discussed during your child’s office visit. No matter where you are on your journey, I’m here to guide and support you every step of the way.

The truth is, time flies by quickly, and these precious moments with your children are fleeting. My hope is that this podcast will serve as a reminder to cherish the journey, and that by providing actionable tips to help families find balance and foster connection, you will make the most of the years that truly matter. Combining my professional expertise, personal experiences, and passion for helping children thrive, The Simply Pediatrics Podcast is proud to empower you as parents to take an active role in your children’s health and to build a brighter, healthier future for your families.

The overarching goal of this podcast is twofold:

First, to offer parents consistent, easily accessible information that promotes a natural, holistic approach to pediatric care, emphasizes prevention, education, and empowerment,  and prioritizes long-term wellness for children. This approach focuses on addressing root causes and supporting the body’s natural ability to heal, rather than relying on pharmaceuticals. By minimizing the need for unnecessary medical interventions, parents can feel confident in guiding their children toward healthier outcomes. This podcast isn’t just about addressing symptoms; it’s about empowering parents to nurture your children’s health from the inside out.

Secondly, to guide parents on their parenting journey, providing valuable information about their child’s development

at every stage. This includes practical parenting advice—rooted in both professional expertise and personal experience—to help families navigate challenges with confidence and ease. It is designed to empower parents with knowledge and practical tips, enabling you to take a proactive role in your children’s lives. In addition, the podcast emphasizes simplifying life so that you parents can fully enjoy your children at every stage of growth.
