Simply Pediatrics is raising awareness for families in need by collecting gently used car seats and strollers to donate to Helping Hands of Huntington. Please bring your items to the Northport Wellness Center, “Attention: Jennie Zethner.” I’ll ensure they reach new families who can use a “helping hand.” ❤️ Thank you so much for your contribution. Jennie's Missionary Trip To Guatemala
In Spring 2024 Jennie and her day daughter Lucy traveled to Guatemala with a medical mission to provide care to the families of rural Guatemala. It was her first trip back in over 20 years and she was thrilled to be there with her daughter.
This act of service helps the children of rural Guatemala who attend the clinic twice annually by providing free medical care, vitamins, parasite treatment, and medicines as needed as well as education on clean water, nutrition, and development to improve the health of their children.
This act of service not only assists those families in need of medical care in Guatemala but it offers those volunteers who take the trip a tremendous gift of appreciation, purpose and knowledge. Jennie and her daughter will be returning to the mission again in the Fall of 2024.
